Postersession at Point Zero Forum event at BFH
The Point Zero Forum is an annual gathering of the world’s financial regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to collaborate on the advancement of global financial systems. This years forum takes place 1 - 3 July in Zurich, Switzerland.
At Point Zero Forum, central bankers, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders and technologists from around the world gather for three days of dialogue, collaboration and networking. Participants work to align policy, finance and technology roadmaps, and share the latest innovations and developments to advance financial ecosystems. The Forum serves as a pivotal platform for fostering strategic dialogues and strengthening collaborations between the public and private sectors.
Innovation tour
The Forum also organizes an Innovation Tour Program, where participants can gain exclusive access to leading Swiss companies and innovation labs on 1 July, the Innovation Tours give participants the unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge projects and developments. These visits offer a deep dive into the latest trends and technologies driving innovation.
The Bern University of Applied Sciences has been selected as part of the Innovation Tour Program to showcase the privacy-preserving GNU Taler payment system along with its various applications and extensions – as well as other payment- and digital identity related projects – that are currently being developed at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and its international partners as part of the NGI TALER EU project.
